[PHOTOS] “Altered Carbon” Screen Captures Added

Hey guys! I’ve finally uploaded HQ screencaps of Dichen from Season 1 of Altered Carbon. If you’ve seen the show, you should be aware that there’s nudity in one episode. I’ve flagged the album as containing sensitive material and the thumbs corresponding with the screencaps as well. This site does not promote pornography, but was created as a source for fans to enjoy Dichen’s projects–which is why I decided to add the screencaps. Please do not disrespect Dichen or this site with these photos in any way. Thank you and I hope you guys enjoy the episode screen captures!

“Altered Carbon” Heading Back to Netflix for Season 2

Altered Carbon, Netflix’s mega-expensive, time-spanning sci-fi story of endlessly-reborn detective Takeshi Kovacs, has been green lit for a second season.

Via multiple industry reports, Netflix has ordered eight all-new episodes (down from the first season’s run of 10 episodes, which debuted all at once in February) for the series, which is based on Richard K. Morgan’s line of dystopian cyberpunk novels.

Bound by Altered Carbon’s lore, in which Kovacs’ consciousness is eternally transplanted into a succession of new bodies, or “sleeves,” via downloadable technology that fits everything into portable storage plug-ins known as “stacks,” original Kovacs actor Joel Kinnaman won’t be returning to reprise the role for Season 2.

Rather, Kovacs will be played by Anthony Mackie, a face that’s familiar to Marvel fans for his multiple appearances as The Falcon in a string of MCU films: Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, and this year’s Avengers: Infinity War.

Additional casting details are light, but Season 1 showrunner and executive producer Laeta Kalogridis will be back, joined by Alison Schapker, who will share both duties with Kalogridis and other executive producers for the series’ second outing.

Beyond casting Mackie as the new Takeshi Kovacs, it’s not known whether other Season 1 stars like Dichen Lachman (who played Kovacs’ deliciously twisted sister, Reileen) and Martha Higareda (the detective who first suspects, and then romances Kovacs) will be back. Kalogridis told Entertainment Weekly in February that Lachman and Chris Conner (Poe, the endearing AI manager of the Raven Hotel) might turn up in Season 2.

Also mysterious is the time and setting for Kovacs’ re-sleeved Season 2 adventures. Morgan’s second book in the Carbon series, Broken Angels, takes place 30 years after the events of the original, but Netflix has not indicated whether the show’s second season will adhere to the novels’ sequencing. We also haven’t seen word of a possible release date, but that’s to be expected this early in the development cycle. In the meantime, you can catch up by checking out the entire first season of Altered Carbon at Netflix.

Five Fun Facts You (Maybe) Didn’t Know

Dichen Lachman is an Australian actress who was born on February 22, 1982. She began her acting career in 2005 and now has a successful career in the television industry. She is best-known for her role as Katya Kinski in the Australian soap opera ‘Neighbours’ and as Sierra in the television series ‘Dollhouse’. She has also had recurring roles in ‘The 100’, ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’, ‘Shameless’, and ‘The Last Ship’. She is currently playing Reileen Kawahara in ‘Altered Carbon’. Although she is gradually rising in prominence, there are still lots of things that you probably do not know about this actress. Here are five fun facts about Dichen Lachman.

1. She Was Born in Kathmandu
Although Dichen Lachman is now an official Australian citizen, she was actually born in Kathmandu. She did not move to Australia until 1990 when she was eight years old. Her father is Australian with German heritage, while her mother is Nepalese Tibetan. She did not move to Los Angeles until 2007.

2. She is Married to Max Osinski
Dichen Lachman is married to Max Osinski. Her husband is an Australian actor who is known for his roles in ‘Love & Other Drugs’, and ‘The Express’. He also co-wrote and co-produced ‘Hollywood Hitmen’, a web series, with Enver Gjokaj. Lachman and Osinski met while both working on ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ and dated for three years before marrying in January 2015. The couple’s daughter, Mathilda, was born just five months later. The couple and their daughter currently live in Los Angeles.

3. She Was in the Film ‘Too Late’
Dichen Lachman played the role of Jilly Bean in the 2015 film ‘Too late’. This is an independent drama film that was written and directed by Dennis Hauck. It is about a private investigator who is scouring the streets of Los Angeles in search of a missing woman from his past. He then becomes involved in a sleazy scandal. The film starred John Hawkes, Crystal Reed, Val Bloom, Joanna Cassidy, Jeff Fahey, Robert Forster, and Brett Jacobson. Bill Fernandez was the cinematographer for this film and he shot it in five twenty-two minute individual takes using 35 mm Techniscope. There are no hidden cuts or other editing.

4. She Was the Runner-Up for an Award
In 2015, Lachman and Eliza Taylor were jointly nominated for an E! Online Best Series Ever TV Awards for Best Fight. This was for a scene from ‘The 100’. Although they did not win this award, they came a close second. This is the only award for which Dichen Lachman has been nominated at this point in her career.

5. She Has Had Roles in Three Web Series
In addition to her film and television work, Dichen Lachman has also had roles in three web series. The first role was playing Carol for one episode of ‘Spooked’ in 2014. She then played Eva in the 2015 web series ‘Hollywood Hitmen’. She was also the producer of this series, while her husband was the co-writer and co-producer. Most recently, she provided the voice of Laura for an episode of ‘Scary endings’ in 2016.
